In addition to nannying, I’ve also worked in a daycare and regularly volunteer at a preschool, giving me experience with children of different ages, personalities, and routines. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and have experience managing multiple children in both structured and home environments.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids active, creative, and off screens when possible. I usually bring my own bag of crafts, games, toys, and activities so there’s always something fun and engaging to do. I also like planning little outings like playground trips, walks, library visits, swimming, or getting outside whenever possible. I enjoy doing crafts, baking, reading, imaginative play, sports, homework help, and fun learning activities while creating a safe, memorable, and structured environment for kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the best part about being a nanny is building a real connection with both the kids and the family. I love creating fun memories with the kids. I really enjoy helping make life easier for parents by keeping things running smoothly and being someone they can depend on. I want parents to be able to come home feeling less stressed knowing their kids were cared for, had fun, and were supported throughout the day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with autism, down syndrome, and a variety of different behavioral and developmental needs through daycare settings. I’m very patient, calm, adaptable, and focused on creating a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, and understood. I also have experience helping give medications. I’m always happy to learn each child’s individual needs and communication styles to best support your children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was taking the kids I nannied to a petting zoo for the day while also helping their mom with a few errands and some cleaning. She told me that she had been dealing with a lot that week. When she got home, she told me how grateful she was and relieved that having me there helped her come home and feel present with her kids instead of worrying about everything else. It made me realize how much of an impact I could have on a family!
