I am a nurse and have over 5 years of experience in childcare. I came to the United States as an au pair and have cared for five different children. First, I prepare them for the day by making their breakfasts, lunches (including snacks), and dinners. We engage in many activities together throughout the day, such as drawing pictures, playing with play dough, playing hide and seek, spending time in the library and playground, organizing playdates, playing soccer, doing creative children’s experiments, and sometimes spending time in the kitchen to make brownies, among other activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is one that I'll always cherish. It was a rainy afternoon, and the children and I were curled up on the couch, reading a book together. As I read, they would interrupt with questions and excited comments, their faces full of curiosity and wonder. At that moment, I realized how much they trust me to guide them through their little adventures in the world.
