I do have experience working with children with special needs such as autism, adhd, Trisomy 21, and deafness. I feel comfortable caring for special needs children but I know every child has different needs and I would be willing to learn anything to accommodate to a child.

When taking care of kids, I love talking with them. It makes me happy talking with them about things they are interested in conversations like “this is my stuffed animal Pete the cat, he’s my favorite…” I will ask questions and genuinely be interested in what they have to say.
