A little bit about me

Though I’ve been a nanny for about 10 1/2 years, I’ve been watching kids, in general, for much longer. From watching a newborn (three months) and her two year old brother to watching families of multiples. I have watched several children from at least 19 different families over the years. All of them growing up right before my eyes, all eventually reaching to the point they even outgrew (needing) me. On top of working for all these families throughout the years, my senior year in high school I spent least two hours twice a week working in the preschool. Every Friday was spent writing a very detailed report on two activities, one for each day and every week we were given a different area of the preschool. (Ex. Sensory, drama, snack, etc.). I excelled in that class, and though I was in Child Care I, I won the Child Care II award. Working with children has just always come naturally to me and I think my creativity, empathy, compassion, and patience help play a major role in that.
