The most important part about being a nanny...
On my way to my first babysitting job, my mom explained to me that this job is serious, in that I am responsible for those children for the next 3 hours. That weight felt heavy on my 12 year old shoulders, but before I left the car my mom said "love the children" and I repeated that to myself every time I walked into my classroom as a pre-k teacher. Everything I do as a nanny will come from that motto!
