This summer I had the opportunity to work in an administrative role at a local child development center while also working my full time nanny position. I enjoyed building relationships with families and having the opportunity to grow in this experience. I was able to get out of my comfort zone and be an asset to the team. Working with teachers, training them in areas of child development and working in the classrooms with the children, insuring that the child-teacher relationships are built on a strong foundation.

My favorite nanny moment is when the little girl that I care for asked me to play hair salon with her. She did a wild hairstyle on my hair with lots of bows. I left it in my hair the whole day and she was so happy. I love that children accept you for who you are and let you be your true silly self.
