A little bit about me

I have been employed as a full time nanny for these past four years. During this time, our days consisted of reading, learning, playing, crafting, and baking. There were many planned outings to the playground, or out for ice cream... and some days where we spent all day in a pile of books or making the perfect birthday card for grandma.

I was responsible for baths, food prep, sleep training, and running errands (among other things). I also provided light housekeeping, and laundry.

I am motivated, energetic, fun, crafty, clean and caring. I am looking for a family that wants me to help nurture their children (while respecting their parents wishes). I am hoping to be a special part of you and your children's journey. I was blessed to be part of two special little girls lives for these past two years, and I hope to be part of your child or children's!

Previously, I worked with the elderly as an Activities Director for an assisted living home for 13 Years (Which I loved!).

Andrea Peters
"We were lucky to have Elizabeth as part of our household for almost two years. She cared for our two daughters(now 3.5 years old and 20 months old) and quickly became part of our family. Elizabeth has so many amazing talents which makes her such a great caregiver. She planned crafts and projects almost daily for our girls. She read to them, played games, baked treats and even set up photo shoots with them to surprise us for holidays. She followed our routines and always kept us in the loop throughout the day with pictures and updates. Our girls safety was her number one priority and we knew that they were always in good hands. Our oldest will be going to preschool in the fall so unfortunately, we have to let Elizabeth go. Any family will be lucky to have her. We cannot recommend her enough!"

"Elizabeth truly treats my girls like they are her own. She has a huge heart and the kids love her dearly. Very reliable, knowledgeable, and professional! It’s hard to put into words just how great she is. One of a kind. Not sure what we would do without her!"

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Currently I am a nanny for two families (friends that nanny share) each with a young girl for the last two years.
I also was a Nanny two years previous to my current position for a family with two young girls from infants up to 4 years in age.
Cared for my friends daughter while she worked.
Cared for children in the Foster Care System growing up.
Volunteered at a daycare often doing craft projects and field trips.
Caring for nieces and nephews often, on weekdays as well as weekends and over nights.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very crafty so I love to do craft projects with children and help their creative side. I also love to read to children, this is a huge passion of mine. I also like outside activities like the park, and playground, just being outside is great for kids. I enjoy outings to the museum, library, shopping or kids events like the fair or amusement park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to create a positive nurturing, and loving relationship with the child or children, while creating a strong respecting, working relationship with the parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a brother who has special needs, and I have been given the wonderful gift of learning to be patient, understanding and kind when dealing with a child that has special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

While caring for my current nanny families two young girls while their parents worked, the moment they called me by name and even before that when they would see me and get really excited, that was the best feeling, knowing the time you spent with them was memorable and that was so rewarding for me!
I also really enjoyed taking my nephew to the zoo and doing holiday craft projects with him for his parents!
