I was a daycare teacher May-August 2023, May- August 2024, and January-April 2025. I worked with 0-12 years old, having the most experience with school age (6-12) and infants/toddlers. I was also a church Sunday nursery attendant for ages 0-4 for 1.5 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun art or science activities for older kids, but doing things like peekaboo, practicing throwing balls, reading books, and dancing are just a few things I love doing with infants/toddlers to help with growth and development. I love finding activities where a child can learn and have fun at the same time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s the small moments that always seem to be the most memorable or defining. Feeding a baby who just couldn’t contain their giggles and would spray their baby food and that just made them giggle more is one I love thinking about.
