I worked in a daycare while I was in highschool for two summers, during this I was caring for 12-14 kids at a time, ranging in ages from 0 yrs - 7 yrs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outdoors; going to the beach, biking, swimming, sports, playing in the yard, whatever interests the kids! I also love doing arts and crafts with kids, I may not be the most artistic but I will support them all the way!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe that fulfilling the parents needs and requests are at the forefront. However, if I could play a part in educating or growing a kid as an individual in any way whether that's with sports interest or creating new hobbies it would be amazing!
My experience with special needs children...
While I don't have direct experience working with special needs children, two of my cousins grew up with special needs, one with cerebral palsey and the other with autism, so I have been around and am extremely comfortable in that setting.
