My name is Elizabeth and I am a nurturing and warm individual. I have a strong background working with children both as a nanny and in a Childcare setting. I have worked as a Child care Director. I have experience with infants, all the way through School age children. I have a total of over 10 years of experience working with children. My experience also includes working with children with disabilities and special needs like autism, Down syndrome, Tourette’s and other conditions. I enjoy doing all sorts of activities with children that promote their developmental growth. I’m a firm believer in play-based learning and I love creating opportunities for children to learn without them even realizing that they’re learning. I believe working with children is not a task all can do, but I firmly believe I was born to do this. I am First Aid and CPR certified for both infants and older children and have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

I am a very hands-on person and I enjoy doing a lot of STEAM activities with children. All of the activities are age-appropiate and provide the children with opportunities to learn through play.

Understanding that the safety and well-being of the children, comes first. Also knowing that you are working together with the family of that child to do what is best for that child.

I have worked as an ABA therapist with chilren who have autism. I have also worked closely with children who have down syndrome as well as other special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was whitnessing an infant learn to crawl for the first time while he was with me as I placed an object in front of him while we were doing tummy time.
