A little bit about me

I have my Master's of Science in Human Development and Childhood Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and a certification in applied behavior analysis. I currently serve as a board-certified behavior analyst working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I enjoy working with children with all abilities and ages 0-18, however, my specialty is ages 0-5. I have experience with sleep training, encouraging food expansion, speech and language development, toilet training, creation and implementation of curriculum to support growth and development, fine and gross motor skill development, infant care, tutoring, promoting social skills and relationships, and behavior management. My passion is serving children and families, helping in any capacity that is necessary.

Language development activities: reading books, singing songs with hand motions and movement, narration of play following your child's lead, encouragement of word expansion through play

Sibling Play: encouragement in parallel play (playing with the same item in proximity of sibling: sand, blocks, playdough, water play, cars), cooperative play (receiving and giving items, engagement in one play scheme: building train tracks, magnet tiles), imaginary/ pretend play (focus on communication and turn taking: doctor, teacher, chef), structured play (conversation in play, turn taking: board games, hide and seek, Simon says), and problem solving group activities (e.g. group arts and crafts activities).
