I have always loved working with children. Every age is different and special in their own way and I love getting to know every child’s heart and mind! I’m energetic, kind, caring, compassionate,I have good communication skills, patient, a good listener, and a dedicated and hard worker! I have experience taking care of children in Sunday school, with ages ranging from infancy to preteens. I also have experience babysitting kids of varying ages. I changed diapers, prepared meals and snacks, took them on little field trips to the park, helped with homework, and watched them play in the pool and on the trampoline. I’m very careful and attentive to ensure their safety. I have my own car, I’m very artistic and creative which helps me entertain and connect with children. I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds. I’m handy in the kitchen so I can help with meal prep and snack time, I will gladly help with homework, and I don’t mind doing housework too! I’m very organized and detail oriented.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a Sunday school teacher for many years at my local church and I’ve cared for toddlers and pre teens, finding creative ways to entertain, learn and grow with them and get to know the children and their likes and dislikes, and building a strong relationship with them!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love finding new creative ways to entertain and spend time with children! I put on puppet shows, color, paint, draw, do karaoke, play dress up, play house, read stories, put on plays, etc. I love coming up with new games and interactive activities!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is respecting boundaries with the parents and learning to communicate and get into a synchronized rhythm. Being reliable and respectful, and building relationships and not just taking the job as a responsibility but an opportunity.

My experience with special needs children...

My little cousin is autistic and I spent a lot of time caring for him from infancy through till he was able to go off to school. It was a challenge but I learned to adapt to his sensitivity and work around obstacles and ultimately I learned new ways to work with him and build a good connection!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is sharing new experiences with children! I love when they discover a new interest or hobby, or when they accomplish something for the first time! I’m so proud of kids and love when they reach and important milestone!
