A little bit about me

Hello 👋 I am a 37 year old widow . I have a son who is 15 and is on the spectrum , he’s as smart as can be, and all through his life I’ve been studying about autism and my first cousin who I’m close with is a pediatric neurologist and he’s been a great help . I come from an abusive background , my parents have always treated me with contempt since I was little and I told myself that I would never be like that with my own children, any kids . And I’m proud to say that I am the opposite of every wicked thing they stand for. I graduated from Pitt community college with my associates in human services and my C-sac ( certified substance abuse counselor) . That allowed me to not only work with addicts but children as well and that was a great joy to be a light and guidance to those precious little ones! I have been blessed with a daughter who is three and attends speech therapy, her dad and I share time .. one week on / one off .
