Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a travel nanny, I traveled to NC every other weekend to watch a four year old and a six year old. Then I traveled with them to Chicago to watch them and another four year old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love board games, hide and seek, i love teaching children as well. Drawing and singing!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being there for the kids, making sure not only are they taken care of physically but emotionally. I want them to be able to be close to me, happy to see me and be able to just relax when with me. it’s important to not see me as a strict babysitter or the babysitter but a friend who cares about you and is here to take care of you when mom or dad is busy. almost like that older cousin you inspire to be like one day.

My experience with special needs children...

i work with children who have autism and i know how it effects all ages and everyone differently, i can also help with potty training and any other obstacles ahead of us

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many, I still babysit this one boy, he is 5 now and I’ve been babysitting him since he was a newborn. i remember rocking him back to sleep at 2a.m and it just felt so comforting. There is also these 3 kids i normally babysit together when i go up to Sanford, they adore me. one time i left to go check on the other two even tho they were with their grandfather and the youngest girl asked me to stay to cuddle and we were never super close and that just melt my heart. I also often babysit this 4 year old who i’ve been babysitting since he was 2 and he accidentally calls me mom a lot, i mainly do nap time and dinner with him and he is always so excited to see me and he adores me and he is the light of my life.
