A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Ella MacRae, and I am 22 years old! My #1 passion has been working with kids since the moment I outgrew the title myself. I started babysitting at 13, and fell in love with the connections I was able to form with the kids I watched. At age 16, I lived in Ecuador for 2 months running a summer camp for kids living in the small community in the Andes Mountains. And just this past year, I was able to start my own childcare program for kids in my neighborhood during COVID-19. Following all social distancing guidelines, I provided a safe space for 10 kids to continue developing their social and emotional skills even through this difficult time. As summer shifted into school, I began working part-time with many students, some with learning and behavioral challenges, to organize and manage their distance learning schedules. Moving forward, I am excited to explore more opportunities, teach/take care of your child, but MOST importantly, learn from them.
