I have completed the Foster Career and Technical Education's Early Childhood Education program. Completion of this program will increase student’s knowledge of historical and theoretical influences in Early Childhood Education (ECE) child development and what is meant by the”whole child”, developmentally appropriate practices, early childhood curriculum, instructional and behavioral planning, as well as observations and assessment of children. Students will work to develop professional relationships with co-workers, children, families and others. Students will also have the opportunity to earn CPR/First Aid certification, Mandated Reporter’s Training, and Certificate of Early Childhood Assistant (CECA).

I love big body play! I am always willing to run around, play pretend, and get messy when playing with kids. I believe that it is more than important for kids to get their hands dirty sometimes.
