I usually work with younger kids, in that case I like to go on walks with them to get them outside, I enjoy reading them books, as well as helping them learn them, one of my favorite things to do is bake different things, and just try different things with them in general.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love being able to build a relationship with not only the kids, but the whole family as well. I think building trust with them and their kids is a crucial part to nannying. But overall i'd say teaching the kids new things, and just being a well set role model for them!
My experience with special needs children...
For one of my classes senior year, one of our lessons was working with special needs kids. We would volunteer with them twice a week and assist them in doing different activities.
