The most important part about being a nanny is being able to identify potential dangers and keep your child safe. I have 12 years of lifeguarding experience and have renewed my American Red Cross Certification every 2 years.
It is also very important to me to come to work healthy, rested and emotionally regulated so that I can pour into your child and act with patience, understanding and love! I think listening, holding space for and encouraging children in their passions is really important.

I have spent date nights watching my friend child who has autism but no consistent full time experience (other than I hang with their family!)
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments nannying was one of my tide pool exploration days with J (spent ages 1 to 2 years with his family) we found cephalopods and we both got to be in awe and amazement together and talk about the exciting colors! Another moment was at Natural Bridges J's pure stoke for the butterflies and then learning about them at the museum of natural history in seabright after!
