A little bit about me

Hi my name is Elle, I am 20 years old and live in Jacksonville with my husband, Levi. I have a ton of experience with kids. I’ve been babysitting neighbors kids since around the age of 14. I was involved in a child care program at my high school where we were taught how to care for children up to the age of 5, we rotated through the classroom as well as caring for infants and toddlers from families in the community. I have experience babysitting multiple kids at once ranging from 6 months old to 4 years old, I am CPR and BLS certified, and I have my own car for transportation. I am excited to meet you and your little ones and am happy to help in any way I can! I also have base access to nanny for military families!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was involved in a child care program with my high school. We had a daycare attached to our classroom. The students would rotate between them getting both textbook knowledge as well as real life experience and learning with infants and toddler from families in the school or the community.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think outside time with kids is essential so any chance they want to go outside and play, I will be right there with them! Any activities to further the development of your child is my top priority. If you have any suggestions of activities they like or that you think are beneficial for your child, I am happy to implement those!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important and awesome part about nannying or babysitting is helping your kids reach their full potential. They deserve to be as creative and active as possible and I would love to help them do that!

My experience with special needs children...

I have always loved working with special needs children and getting them comfortable with other people and everyday tasks! Throughout middle school I worked as a peer in the special needs classroom and gained such valuable experience with the needs of many different students. I know that every child is different and they may have certain things that work specifically for them. I am happy to work with you to understand what makes your child the most comfortable and what works best for them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment was with a 2 year old boy I was babysitting. He was always very quick to throwing tantrums or crying when something didn’t work for him on the first try. One day he got frustrated and started crying to me that something was wrong. I sat down with him, got him to calm down, and told him everything was okay. I asked him to let me know what was wrong before crying so I could help him figure out what was going on. From then on out he was actively reaching out to me for help when he couldn’t figure something out. All kids need is for someone to be there to listen to them and help them figure out what they need, especially since almost everything they are doing is completely new to them!
