I currently work as a Pre-k teacher at a daycare. I have worked there since March of this year, but have 7+ years of experience baby sitting my 5 younger siblings. At my current job as a teacher I have 14 students ages 4-5. I also help work in the infant, toddler, and preschool classes as well. Everyday I am responsible for teaching early level reading, writing, and math, as well as singing songs with kids, meal prep, cleaning, reading stories, assisting with minor injuries, meal prep, playing outside, conflict resolution between kids, and just being there for hugs! I truly love working with kids and would love to continue my childcare career as a nanny!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As a teacher, one of my favorite things to do with my kids is crafts! Whether it be coloring a picture or making 3D projects! I believe art is a great way kids can learn and express themselves! I also love to assist with reading and writing! I understand learning the English language can be quit difficult, so I like to do fun lesson plans with kids to make reading a fun activity rather than a chore.
