Hi, I'm Elizabeth. I'm in my 20s, love children, and I'm great with animals too. While I don't currently have any professional experience in childcare, I am no stranger when it comes to working with kids. I have plenty of volunteer experience working with teenagers, school age kids, preschoolers, and the occasional toddler. I also have previous experience as a babysitter and I have worked extensively with children with special needs. Not to brag, but I'm pretty decent at cooking/baking should the need arise. I am also experienced in housework and I am CPR/first aid certified. I have previous work experience as a lifeguard and I have some light experience in the medical field.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with two brothers who have special needs. One has high functioning autism and the other has autism and is speech delayed. I often helped them learn new things and navigate surroundings. I also helped practice speech therapy with one of them and taught him several basic life skills. I have a bit of volunteer experience working with special needs kids as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a little girl get really excited when I asked her if those were unicorns on her dress. She preceded to tell me how much she loved unicorns. It was adorable.
