Hi! My name is Emalee! I’m a full time student at UNI available to work part time. I’ve been working at a day care for the past three years as a lead teacher in the 4/5s room. I’m CPR and first aid certified, a mandatory reporter, and have taken medication training, along with other trainings when it comes to working with kiddos! I loved my job and the kiddos at the day care, and only left to continue my education.

Crafts, reading, coloring, and just letting kids be kids. I want them to play and see their imagination.

Being able to be a safe space as someone that the kids would trust to talk to and know that I would never judge them.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a child on the spectrum at the day care. We made picture charts to learn the schedule for the day and learned what their needs where.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved spending time outside with the kiddos! We had a great time playing in the pool and using the slip n slide. They loved being able to spray me and each other with water! I also really loved being able to just sit and color or play with the kids and listen to what they find interesting and just learn about them and their interests.
