More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience includes volunteering at my church where I helped care for younger kids and assisted teachers during communion and confirmation classes, working with both children and teens for about 6 years, I also worked with a family for almost 4 years caring for their daughter, which gave me consistent hands-on experience with daily routines, activities, and responsibilities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing games, reading stories, doing arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors. I also really enjoy baking and love involving kids in simple, safe steps like mixing ingredients or decorating, since it makes it fun and interactive for them while keeping them engaged and learning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most in babysitting or being a nanny is the child’s safety, first and always. That means being attentive, responsible, and able to handle situations calmly and quickly.
Just as important is creating a stable, caring environment where the child feels comfortable and secure. Kids do best when they have consistency, patience, and someone who genuinely pays attention to them not just supervising, but actually engaging.
Good communication with parents also matters a lot—being honest, reliable, and respectful about routines, rules, and updates.
And lastly, being patient and present. Kids (especially toddlers) need time, attention, and understanding while they learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when the little girl I cared for helped me bake cookies for the first time. She was so excited to pour in the ingredients and mix everything together, even though it got a little messy. When the cookies were done, she was so proud and kept showing everyone saying she made them. It was a really simple moment, but seeing how happy and confident she felt made it really special for me.
