More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began babysitting in the seventh grade. As the oldest sister, cousin, and niece, I was my mom, uncles, and aunts' first choice when it came to acquiring a sitter. As the oldest of five, I began babysitting at a young age. Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered at the elementary school after-school care program. At age 17 I started homeschooling and became a full-time nanny. I am proudly able to say that I have cared for children of all age groups.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy creating a positive and interactive environment for children. Some activities I love doing with them include arts and crafts, where we can unleash our creativity together. I also enjoy playing educational games that promote learning in a fun way. Outdoor activities like going to the park, playing sports, or having a picnic are great for physical exercise and fresh air. Additionally, reading books and storytelling are activities I find valuable for fostering imagination and language development. Overall, my goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the children in my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Ensuring their safety and well-being is my top priority. I believe in fostering open communication with both children and parents to build trust and maintain a collaborative approach to caregiving. I am committed to being a positive role model, providing educational and engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, and adapting my caregiving style to accommodate the unique dynamics of each family. The opportunity to contribute to a child's growth and development is a responsibility I take to heart, and I am dedicated to creating a positive and enriching experience for the families I work with.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most cherished nanny moments was when a child I was looking after learned to ride a bike for the first time. We had spent days practicing in the backyard, and I could see the determination in their eyes. The excitement on their face when they finally pedaled independently was priceless. It wasn't just about riding a bike; it was a moment of triumph, growth, and the trust we had built together. Knowing that I played a part in such a milestone is what makes being a nanny so fulfilling for me.
