"I highly recommend Emily as a nanny and caregiver. She was my son’s teacher and has also cared for him outside of school hours, including during our date nights and even on days when school closed early.
Emily provides a loving, supportive, and nurturing environment. My son absolutely adores her, and we have always felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She is dependable, kind, and truly goes above and beyond for the children she works with.
We will absolutely continue to use her whenever we need childcare. She is amazing, and any family would be lucky to have her!"

"Emily was my son’s previous daycare teacher which is how I met her. Aside from family, Emily is the ONLY person I have ever let watch my kids. She is kind and fun. My kids LOVE HER. She is reliable and I know my babies are safe when they’re with her."

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is more than just caring for children—it’s about building trust, respect, and a positive connection. I believe in a “you respect me, I’ll respect you” approach: children feel safe, loved, and guided when boundaries are clear. I am always happy, playful, and engaging with children, but I also model respect and appropriate behavior. If a child acts rudely, I show them calmly and consistently how to respond with kindness, teaching that love and respect are always reciprocated. I enjoy joking, playing, and creating fun experiences while helping children grow, learn, and progress every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have mainly worked with self-functioning children and have a strong passion for babysitting in this area. During high school, I completed a 3-year internship at Hobbston Elementary, supporting students with special needs, and I also have personal experience with a sibling who has a different learning development. I believe in honesty and respect when it comes to childcare, so I choose not to take roles outside my training or experience, understanding the legal responsibilities and importance of being fully prepared to ensure every child’s safety and well-being.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments with children include bedtime reading stories, playing and laughing in the home, sharing giggles, and coloring together. These simple, joyful moments are what make childcare so rewarding for me!

I have a genuine passion for working with children, which I cultivated while working at an afterschool and summer daycare program during high school. There, I gained hands-on experience with children aged 4-12, assisting with activities, supervision, and fostering a positive and supportive environment. Full-Time Nanny Available in Roseboro, NC: Diamond E.
I am a 44 year old mom of three: daughter aged 23, two sons aged 16 and 18. I have worked in daycare for almost 4 years with all age groups becoming lead teacher in infant room for 3 of those years. My last job was for three years as a nanny to two children, at start of job the oldest girl was 2 months old and then her brother joined the family 1 1/2 years later at which time i took over the care of him at 6 weeks old along with his toddler sister. I also have nannied for a sweet baby girl just recently from January 2024-June 2024. She was 3 months old at start of her care. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology with concentration on child development. I have been CPR/First Aid certified but I have to get my renewal done. I enjoy children and will treat them like they were my own. Nurturing and exploring activities for social/emotional learning is so very important. Patience is key as well because all children are different.
