I have been babysitting and nannying for families for the past 7 years. I am also certified through The Red Cross Babysitter's Course. I have my driver's license and experience driving kids too and from activities. I have also had experience taking care of pets, and helping out with light housekeeping.

In my opinion, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable learning and growing. I find it really important to make emotional connections with children as well as the families I am working with, in order to meet each individual's needs.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had experience nannying for children on the autism spectrum and have had numerous volunteering opportunities in which I have helped out with special needs children. I am more than willing to learn a special needs child's routine and work with them in order to meet their needs!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nannying moment was when I taught a little girl to ride her bike, and eventually be able to watch her be able to do it on her own for the very first time. I had been nannying for this family for multiple years, and I loved getting to see each child grow and learn throughout new experiences.
