Hi! I'm Emily (she/her) and I am 26 years old. I began babysitting when I was 13 and have been providing childcare ever since. I have been a nanny for two families which included cleaning, driving the kids to/from practice, meal prep, taking care of pets, etc. I have teaching experience and I have worked with kids through school programs. I love watching the kids grow and learn new things everyday. It's so rewarding to be a part of that experience. Knowing I am an influence in their lives is a huge responsibility, but it is why I love it!

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteered through my college for a program called Inspire Sports where we did different activities with children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was watching a movie with the 10 year old girl, M., I was a nanny for and her mom came home, which meant I could go home. M. didn't want me to leave and wanted me me to finish the rest of the movie with her so I stayed and M., her mom, and I ended up hanging out and watching movies the rest of the night. We had a great time! :)
