I feel as though the most important part about being a babysitter is having the kids and parents of the kids trust you and truly building a bond with them. i feel like you really need to be trusted because there are some bad people out there and it’s very scary. So most definitely building trust with everyone is what makes a great babysitter. also having the kids like you, because i had a babysitter when i was little that i did not like at all. i hated going to her house or her coming over. having the kids like you definitely benefits everyone.

My favorite moment from taking care of kids is when I was working with a group of about 20 kids over summer and we all went outside and just played with water. they all loved to spray me with the water guns and they even dumped a bucket of water on me 😂😂 even though I was soaking wet, it was so much fun ! :)
