The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive. This means building trust with both the children and their families, understanding each child's unique needs, and fostering their growth—emotionally, socially, and developmentally. A great nanny provides not just supervision but also guidance, patience, and consistency, helping children feel secure and valued. Adaptability is key, as every child is different, and being able to tailor care, routines, and activities to each child ensures they feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

My experience with special needs children...

Caring for a little boy with Down syndrome from infancy through toddlerhood was an incredibly rewarding experience. As an infant, I focused on providing a nurturing, patient, and stimulating environment, supporting his developmental milestones with gentle encouragement and tailored activities. I worked on tummy time, sensory play, and early communication, celebrating each small achievement. As he grew into a toddler, I incorporated structured routines to foster independence, worked on motor skills through play, and encouraged language development with sign language and verbal cues. His resilience and joy were truly inspiring, and being part of his journey, providing consistent care and support, was a privilege.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was witnessing a child's breakthrough in confidence. I was caring for a little boy who was incredibly shy and hesitant to try new things. Over time, with patience, encouragement, and a nurturing environment, he started to come out of his shell. One day, he finally joined in a group activity he had always avoided, beaming with pride afterward. Seeing his joy and newfound confidence was such a rewarding moment—it reminded me how much of an impact a loving, supportive caregiver can have on a child’s growth.

Hi I'm Liv! I want to help you, whether you desperately need a date night or just a little break from it all. Im happy to help with transportation, housekeeping, meal prep, and homework (it can be fun!).
Experience: I started babysitting kids in my neighborhood as soon as I got my babysitting license at 12/13. I worked with a preschool based in my high school every day in my childhood development class and took several childhood dev. and psychology courses in college. I am very sensitive to children's emotions and I understand that they feel big feelings that they don't fully understand yet, I hope to be able to help your children regulate and understand these emotions so that they can feel safe and have fun while you are away. When it comes to chores you need done, feel free to leave me a list! I will get it done for you. I also love pets! Whoever you need me to look after I will be sure to keep them happy and safe :)
Please feel free to message me with any questions you have!
