This is my third year working at a private preschool. I started as an after-school teacher for children aged 2 to 5. Now, I work as the preschool two aid and love my job so much! I unfortunately am not able to get the hours I need at my job after the school year ends, so that is why I am seeking a nanny position for this summer!

I love to spend a lot of time outdoors! My favorite activity to do with children is to go on walks to the park. I also enjoy planning process-emphasized activities so children can learn through their senses and explore new ideas!

The most important aspect of being a nanny is providing exceptional care for children, ensuring they feel safe and loved. A nanny plays a vital role in the lives of both the child and their family. It is essential for a nanny to understand each child on an individual level in order to provide the specific support they need to thrive and grow.

My experience with special needs children...

I work with an autistic child in my class. He is the sweetest little boy you will ever meet. He needs lots of extra support when dealing with his big feelings. As the teacher, I provide a quiet and safe place for this child to feel his big emotions, while navigating them together. Remaining calm and trying to understand the root cause of the issue is always key.
