I love keeping kids engaged with a mix of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Outside, I like doing things like sidewalk chalk, water play, nature walks, and simple games like catch or hopscotch. Indoors, I keep things creative with arts and crafts, reading time, building forts, baking easy snacks, or playing pretend. I always try to balance fun with learning and choose activities that match the child’s age and interests.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a safe, trusting, and nurturing relationship with the child (and their family). That means making sure the child feels loved, protected, and supported, emotionally, physically, and mentally. It’s not just about supervision. It’s about being patient, dependable, and engaged. A great nanny creates a positive environment where the child can grow, learn, and feel secure, while also respecting the family’s routines, values, and expectations.
