Aside from being a nanny professionally, I have many years of occasional babysitting. I come from a very large Italian family and have lots of little cousins I used to watch.

I love going on walks and to playgrounds with the kids. Putting together either indoor or outdoor scavenger hunts are fun! I also enjoy having the kids help cook and clean if they are old enough. They seemed to enjoy helping with that as well.

One of the little girls that I watched was learning her letters and how to write. I loved being able to help her with that skill and to watch her enjoy doing "homework" so she could practice her letters and eventually learn to spell her name.
