I love the outdoors. Anything outside, such as the pool, parks, walks, playgrounds, I love doing. I also love board games! I am a big advocate for less TV time and more play time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The safety of the kids! They should feel safe and comfortable with me, where we are, and what we are doing. Another important thing is that they are having fun!
My experience with special needs children...
In high school, I was a part of the best buddies club. I was able to be friends with people with special needs. We would plan socials and events in order to make their high school experience the best it could possibly be.
Also, my cousin is autistic and we see her quite often. She has taught me so much about the world and different ways to look at things.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when one of my kids I was nannying for, would introduce me to everyone. He was 4 and he would say, "Hey! This is MY Emily." I loved it because it showed he truly liked me!
