Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an Infant/Toddler "teacher" at hour drop-in child care in Denham springs. Also a private at home sitter for a couple families on occasion.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to have water filled fun with the littles who are old enough and capable! (Splash Pads, Pools, and Waterslides!) Any outdoor/sport activities are always the most fun! I played competition softball for 8 years and basketball as well so I love sports! Indoor activities like crafts, puzzles, coloring or karaoke is also a great time I always am up to have the most fun I can with my littles!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a Nanny is providing a safe comfortable trusting bond with the families overall, I wouldn't want a stranger I couldn't trust with my children's life in there hands. Respect for and from the families is also priority for me as well. I also make sure we have a great time! Schooling is a priority of mine to as well!
My experience with special needs children...
I have 6 years experience with non verbal and verbal autistism, also 1 year experience with down syndrome, I also have a couple months experience with children with leg paralysis.
