More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I previously had a job at the YMCA where I looked after children ages 6-10 every day after school. I also occasionally worked with the YMCA early learning center, where I looked after kids ages 1-5. I helped nanny a family last summer and took care of twin 1-year-olds, a 3-year-old, an 8-year-old, and a 9-year-old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going outside with kids and going to local playgrounds. I love to color, play indoor games, and build towers out of Legos or magnatiles.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Teaching kids to have fun and learn social-emotional skills along with the usual academic and physical skills. It is super important to be a positive role model for kids so they have someone to look up to.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently work with kiddos with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy to kids ages 2-7.
