Hi ✨ My name is Emily and I have 3+ years of childcare experience. I worked in an early childhood center as a UPK lead teacher (4-5 year olds) and as a summer camp counselor for school aged children! While working on my bachelors degree, I worked as a Nanny for a family friend and absolutely enjoyed it. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary educational studies and working on my Masters degree in education technology and instructional design.

I love being outside and running around. (I’m pretty great at tag) I love kickball, soccer, going on walks. I love playing board games, card games, mancala, tic tac toe, etc. I love drawing with chalk and doing art activities.

Having fun and interacting with the children and family. Having an amazing relationship with the parents or guardian of a child, as well as with the child, is important.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a substitute TA for Liverpool school district and worked with children with special needs as 1-on-1. Throughout my work in the ECE, I worked with many children diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, and Autism!

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was a nanny for a family friend, I was able to go to the beach and it was so fun! We had lots of fun playing in the water and introducing the beach to a 6-month old.
