Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have my own children so I care for them daily but I was a nanny for two families in Seattle. One family had 2 older daughters that I pick up from school and drove them to afterschool activities like practice, dance, gymnastics etc. Then they had a little boy who was 2 and I’d watch him during the day till the girls got out of school.The other family I worked for in Seattle the mom went to work at 3am and dad travelled a lot so every morning I went to get the kids ready, feed them breakfast and drive them to school. I also had a nanny job for the summer specifically when we lived in Boise where I was more of like a house manager cause the kids were a bit older but I did laundry, meal prep and their parents hired me to help take them to do fun things in the summer 2x a week.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Being outside, going for walks, crafts, I like to crochet and sew, reading and board games. Love Barbie’s, space {NASA} and cooking!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety making sure yourself and the kids are safe at all times. I’d say the other thing is comfort ability everyone has to be comfortable in any and all situations.
