A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Emily, and I have nannied children of all ages (including infants) for 8 families over the past 12 years. I love what I do! This isn't just a job, it's a calling. Making sure your child(ren) are happy, learning and having fun is the key to my success. I also worked at the YMCA part time for almost 10 years as a lead teacher in both school age and growth and development programs. Being trained in CPR, first-aid, shaken baby syndrome, child abuse prevention and SIDS, helps to ensure the safety and best care for your family. I am certified by the state having completed both the Introduction to Early Childhood Education course and the Early Childhood course. My favorite things to do with little ones are: go on adventures, visit the library, play at the park, teach new games, sensory box activities, art and crafts, playing pretend and cooking together.
