For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, loving relationship with the children and their families. It’s not just about keeping a routine—it's about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel seen, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I believe in being a consistent, positive presence who helps children grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Knowing that I’m making a meaningful impact in a child’s early development is what makes this work so fulfilling.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when a child I cared for started using simple Spanish words and basic sign language we had been practicing together. Hearing them say “gracias” unprompted or sign “more” during snack time made me so proud! It’s amazing to witness how quickly children absorb language, and I love supporting their growth by introducing new ways to express themselves and connect with the world.
