I currently live with a family where I tend their kids in the morning and run errands when I need to. I have 6 nieces and nephews all under the age of 5. I have had 2 jobs, working in Labor and Delivery, and as an MA at a Pediatrics clinic where I got to work closely with many children and help their needs.

I love going on walks, trying to be creative, explore new areas and try out new things that would not on oh be fun and interesting for the kids, but for myself as well:)

Being a best friend with these kids. Someone who they can learn to trust that isn’t their parents. It is my job to keep kids safe while exploring their own interests and helping them develop their own unique personalities.

Your children will be safe with me, emotionally and physically. One thing I’ve learned from my parents, is to NOT do what they did. I love my parents, they did the best they KNEW, ya know? I let my children feel their feelings, whether they are mad sad whatever, and I validate it. Some may call it a “gentle parenting” approach, but I think it’s what parenting should be. I walked on egg shells as a child, I was hyper aware of my moms feelings (not wanting to upset her) and I never want that for my children, or anyone else’s.
My only catch is my kids tag along. My son will be in school in august for 3 hours (TBD if he’s am/pm kindergarten).
