A little bit about me

Hi everyone! I wanted to let people know I have lots of availability for when the school year starts! A little bit about me - I have been babysitting since 8th grade and recently graduated from high school! Over the years, I've become known as the "neighborhood babysitter" in my community. I've cared for children of all ages and have even traveled with families, including a trip to West Virginia where I helped care for several children, especially two toddlers who were both 2 years old. Throughout my senior year, I worked in the PSE After School Program, gaining valuable experience working with groups of children (my group was kindergarten). This summer, I am nannying for two different families and continue to enjoy creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for the kids in my care. I am able to start in August and will be able to start at 1:00-2ish during the day so perfect for picking up kids from school/afternoon care! I also am available evenings for date nights, dinner, etc.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at our local elementary schools after school care my whole senior year! I worked with all the kids but my group was kindergarteners!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing fun board games, getting out of the house to go to the movies, library, fun park etc. I love to have them help me bake something fun. Go to the pool with them and I really do like having a schedule for the day!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making your family feel completely comfortable with leaving there kiddos with you, making sure the kids are safe, comfortable and having a good time/enjoying our time together is a big thing to me!

Probably looking back on when i went on a vacation with a few families i was close with to watch there kiddos and me and most of the kids got really car sick on the way home so we had to stop and i just had to sit with the kids at a table kinda like i was one because we all were so sick and we were cracking up whenever we weren't puking 😂😂
