More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
From actively participating in my own family to contributing to long-established preschools, engaging in internships, and volunteering in elementary schools, assistant teacher for special education, and my journey culminated in a fulfilling role as a reading specialist. Armed with an Associates degree in early childhood education, I find immense joy in guiding and nurturing the potential within every young learner, shaping them into the best versions of themselves.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have a genuine passion for engaging in creative play with children, recognizing it as a crucial element for their cognitive development. Whether it's imaginative play, reading, crafting, enjoying outdoor activities, exploring parks, or baking (albeit with a watchful eye on the potential mess), I find immense joy in creating meaningful and enjoyable experiences for young minds.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Whether in the role of a care-taker, educator, leader, or friend, my approach revolves around fostering connections, upholding respect, and embodying compassion. I prioritize the impact of my choices on both my own well-being and the feelings of others. Ultimately, my goal is to inspire individuals to embrace a life filled with joy and confidence, creating a positive and uplifting environment.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had extensive experience with special needs children, surpassing that of the average adult. Currently serving as a part-time para educator in a special education kindergarten class, I excel in instruction, behavior shaping, modeling, toileting, feeding, and facilitating play. My expertise extends to working with children facing diverse challenges, including Autism, Down syndrome, deafness, blindness, and cerebral palsy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Although not yet a hired nanny, my most treasured moments with children involve their expressions of love and gratitude through kind words or actions. The joy I feel is immeasurable when a child spontaneously expresses love, saying, "I love you," and when asked why, responds with a heartwarming, "because I love you in my heart." My genuine passion lies in both playing and teaching young children, creating meaningful connections that go beyond formal roles.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Ogden, UT: Mia M.
Hi! My name is Mia, and I’m a 19-year-old college student at Weber State University studying Criminal Justice. I’ve been working with children for over four years through private babysitting and my experience working at an after-school program serving children from preschool through 8th grade.
I genuinely enjoy being around kids and love creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
I’m responsible, dependable, and someone who takes childcare seriously. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident in the person caring for their children, and I always want families to feel comfortable communicating their expectations with me.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being involved with hockey. I’m looking forward to getting to know new families and hopefully becoming someone you can rely on for your childcare needs!

Babysitter Available in Ogden, UT: Caitlyn C.
My name is Caitlyn! I just got married this past May and moved to Ogden with my husband in late June. I’m 23, enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, photography, journaling, making coffee, and spending time with my dog and husband! I have experience babysitting children anywhere from infants to late elementary school, I also have 2 younger sisters. I spent a few years in the past helping with kids at my church, and also have upwards of 8 years working with special needs in the form of equestrian therapy. For my paid job, I worked in the coffee industry for the past 5 years, up until moving. As I’m still looking for a longterm job, I’m hoping to find something I can do on the side - that I also enjoy. I’ve always loved being with kids when I have the chance, and would be thrilled if you’d consider me!
