A little bit about me

My names Emma, I've been working with children for years. Mostly coaching gymnastics and cheer, and being assigned the neighborhood baby sitter. within the past year have gotten into the childcare settings. I've worked with children aged 2-12, and have been labelled the quite coworker at the center I worked at. I tend to spend most of my time at work with the kids, getting on their level and trying to understand them. why they do what and how activities emotionally effect them. My goal once I finish school is to find a Montessori school to teach at. I absolutely love the foundations of a Montessori styled education, and I hope to find a family that has the same passion for child led learning and play. I'd love to help around the house, I love to cook, and I love to be outside and enjoying nature. I try to minimize screen time and replace it with hands on learning/ playtime. I am also a firm believer that playtime can also be learning time and that learning can be fun.
