"I gave birth to my daughter June 2023 and Emma was with us from day one. I can honestly say she is amazing. If I was to have an emergency and have to leave immediately I would have no hesitation to know that she would know exactly what to do for my child. She is a natural with children and very hands on. Emma has a natural motherly instinct. She is patient and kind. Will spend hours at the park if that’s what the child wants to do. Children love her and gravitate to her. She is trust worthy and dependable"

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing creative and active activities with children like painting, bracelet making, dancing, singing, clay modeling, drawing, color walks, swimming, and baking. I also enjoy coming up with new projects like upcycling and organizing treasure hunts. Going to the park, helping with cleaning, and simply having fun together are some of my favorite ways to connect. Including them in simple everyday tasks, and watching the confidence and capability build is everything.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel secure, happy, and encouraged to grow. I believe in building trust and strong connections with both the children and their families so we can work together to provide the best care possible. Like my dad always says, it takes a village, and being able to play a caring and guiding role in a child’s life is something I truly find rewarding.
My experience with special needs children...
classroom settings. My role involved guiding lessons, redirecting attention, providing one-on-one support, and ensuring their physical and emotional needs were met. Through this experience, I learned a lot about sensory regulation and the importance of building strong connections with each child to understand them as individuals rather than just part of a classroom.
I’ve found that offering choices, using visual schedules, providing positive reinforcement, and allowing ample processing time are all effective tools. I also recognize that every family has their own parenting style and preferences, and I’m always respectful and adaptable to those needs.
