I was a coach for Sports for Learning, which is a company that worked with schools without PE programs. I participated in the recess program. The program involved incorporating STEM topics into various soccer/running games. Each session was around 20 minutes, and there would be anywhere from 5-40 kids participating, all under my supervision.

The most important thing about being a nanny is to be there for the children. As a nanny, I see myself as another support system. I want to be someone your child can rely on, trust, and look up to.

Not a nanying moment, but it occured while I was working as a coach. The kindergarteners would always give me the sweetest gifts; a dandelion they picked, a blade of grass, a pack of unopened carrots from their school lunch, the list goes on. I love all the little ways children show appreciation. It is so pure.
