More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I grew up attending the same daycare for over 10 years, which eventually led to me working for the owner to help care for the kids. My responsibilities included preparing snacks, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging with the children during playtime. During my freshman year of high school, I worked as a babysitter for a 7-year-old autistic boy. Our time together was filled with outdoor adventures, like building dirt castles and visiting the local park. He loved showing off his toy car collection, and I created fun activities while also preparing his meals. Additionally, I’ve helped care for my younger brother since he was an infant. Over the years, I’ve bottle-fed him, burped him, taken him to doctor appointments, and accompanied him on errands. These experiences have given me valuable insight into nurturing and engaging with children of different ages and needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

enjoy encouraging kids to engage in both indoor and outdoor activities that are fun and educational. Cooking is one of my favorite activities to share, teaching kids where food comes from and how to prepare their own meals. I also value spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or visiting the park, as I believe it’s important for children to experience life beyond the house. As an experienced hiker, having completed hundreds of hikes, I know how to navigate safely and handle different situations. I also love playing board games, drawing, or painting, and I enjoy fostering creativity in kids, helping them unleash their own imaginative sparks.
