A little bit about me

Hello, I'm Emme! I was born and raised in Cleveland and have been passionate about helping children with disabilities since a very young age, inspired by growing up with a brother on the spectrum. My child care experience expands over 10 years across all ages and abilities of children. I love finding new and outside of the box ways to promote and implement creativity and find that children warm up to me fast and am very easy to connect with.

Following high school, I spent a gap year as an assistant at the Solon preschool in the special needs classroom. Additionally, I spent two summers working at a special needs camp, and have been nannying for around 7 years now with ages 1-12 years old.

I completed two years of college at Cleveland State University, majoring in special education. I find so much joy in being a fun and positive mentor in a child's life and can't wait to help your family with any and all childcare needs. Also an animal lover and happy to help with pet care needs!

My experience with special needs children...

I started volunteering in classroom and community programs with special needs children and adults when I was 9 years until 18 years old. From 17-19 I worked as an assistant in a special needs preschool classroom and spent two summers as a counselor at a special needs summer camp. Following that, I spent two years at Cleveland State University majoring in early childhood special education. In addition, I’ve nannied for roughly seven special needs children ages 3-11.
