More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for 1.5 year as a Youth and Family Minister, working with toddlers to teenagers. I also have volunteered with kids for several years in church settings. I also was an academic tutor for 2 years for high school and college students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking kids for walks, going to the pool, and exploring new and fun places. I enjoy leading kids in arts and crafts and playing games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being a nanny because I get to support kids and families through providing safe, fun care and enriching activities. Keeping kids safe and helping them learn and grow at age appropriate levels is the most important part of being a nanny to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked for 3 years with kids to young adults with developmental disabilities. I worked at a community center and I also worked in community integration.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was a nanny for a family with three kids, I took them for all a walk to a local coffee shop to get hot chocolates and play games. I had the baby in a carrier and the two toddlers in a stroller. A mom walked by and told me “good job, mom”. I didn’t correct her because pushing two kids and carrying one up and down hills is hard work. A few minutes later, one of the boys said to me “you’re not our mom”! It was very funny and sweet. We had a great time getting mini hot chocolates afterwards!
