One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I helped the children build their first fort in the living room. It was a rainy day, and we had to get creative indoors. Together, we gathered pillows, blankets, and chairs to construct a cozy little hideaway. The children’s excitement and imagination were contagious, and we spent the afternoon telling stories, pretending we were explorers on a grand adventure.
