Relevant experience where I have cared for children includes babysitting for family, friends, and neighbors, as well as my cousins in St. George, where I enjoy helping them learn and grow. I love seeing kids flourish and develop their own unique personalities, and these experiences have taught me patience, creativity, and how to engage children in ways that are both fun and supportive, while giving parents confidence that their children are well cared for.

I really enjoy spending time with children and finding fun, engaging ways to keep them happy and active. I love reading stories and doing interactive storytelling, as well as arts and crafts like painting or drawing. Playing educational games, or helping with homework. I also enjoy outdoor activities like going to the park, riding bikes, or just exploring nature. Music, dance, imaginative games, and cooking or baking kid-friendly recipes are all great ways I like to connect with kids and make our time together memorable and enjoyable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is finding a balance between following the parents’ rules and supporting the child in ways that really work for them. Whether it’s handling tantrums, disagreements, or just a tough moment, I try to use creative, patient approaches that help the child feel understood and guided, while keeping them engaged and happy. I want both the child and the parents to feel confident and comfortable knowing the child is cared for in the best way possible.
My experience with special needs children...
Yes, I am happy to work with children with special needs. In high school, I was involved in student government, which included supporting programs for the special needs community and have grown my relationship with many of them in our own ways! I also have experience caring for my young cousin who is two and special needs also! I help with speech therapy and baby sign language. These experiences have taught me patience, understanding, and creative ways to engage children of all abilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are when I see the children happy, engaged, and having fun, knowing that I’m doing my job the way it’s meant to be done. It’s incredibly rewarding to see kids enjoying themselves while the parents can relax, knowing their children are safe, cared for, and entertained. Those moments of joy and trust make all the effort worthwhile.
